In its early years, Wang Film Productions was dedicated to producing animations on behalf of Europe and Hollywood's eight major film studios, affording us plentiful opportunities to hone our creative skills. With the assistance of personnel dispatched to Taiwan by Hanna-Barbera to provide on-site supervision and direction, Wang Film's reputation in the worldwide animation industry grew substantially. Before long, eminent names from around the world, like Walt Disney TV Animation, Metro Goldwyn Mayer, Universal Studios, Rankin Bass Productions, BLT, Bakshi Animation, Film Roman, DIC (France), Nelvana (Canada), CINAR (Canada), and BRB (Spain), established long-term partnerships with Wang Film.

Appreciating the value of Wang Film's human resources and stable overseas market demands, numerous businesses sought us out for investment partnerships, including the Cable News Network (CNN), one of our major shareholders. In 1994, the China Development Industrial Bank, Union Petrochemical Corporation, Ritek Corporation, invested jointly in Wang Film Productions. In turn, the expansion and integration of investors' resources including management expertise, the information industry, and global operations has fueled great strides in our development as a diversified media group for the new century.
